For Families.
For All.
Â
My name is Mike Ricotta Jr.

In my family, patriotism is not a word we throw around. It is the sacred, non-negotiable truth that the people are sovereign. Everyday men and women hold the power. The bureaucrats work for us — not the other way around.

This race for Apple Valley Area 5 is an example of the choice writ large: Bureaucracy or the people. There is no middle ground.
Powerful forces from outside our Apple Valley home, and their allies within, recognize that our town is an obstacle to those forces inimical to family, community, true faith and civic virtue.
Apple Valley is still unique. Its people remain fiercely devoted patriots who demand real results and refuse to believe the lies they tell everyone else.

My principal opponent is the living face of the machine: daily he inhabits its corridors, is endorsed by every establishment group, is funded by the political elite, hungry for the power this seat would give him and his backers.

This is your chance to save these schools. You may not get another. Once bureaucracy reaches a certain level of saturation, institutions do not recover. They merely linger — and get worse.
I have one endorsement: the Bull Moose Project. They have no national stake in our individual races. They exist to unite Americans of goodwill who want to revitalize this country, renew our institutions, and make sure the generations ahead of us have it as good as those who came before.

The only people I care to make a deal with are you — my fellow citizens of Apple Valley. The only people whose opinion I want, and not at the price of a $200 plate dinner or a $2,000 gold sponsorship, are the men and women I call my neighbors and my friends.

These are your schools. Take them back.

Elect Mike Ricotta Jr for AVUSD School Board District 5, an independent conservative who believes that the People, all of them, are sovereign.Â
